Calf implant surgery (also known as calf augmentation) is a cosmetic procedure to insert calf implants into the lower legs to create a more ‘shapely’ look, or to help create balance for those who suffer from physical or genetic defects including polio, spina bifida and clubfoot. The surgeon makes a small cut before inserting the implant, which is then held in place by the calf muscles or stitches. Calf implants surgery can take up to two hours per implant. The treatment requires either local or general anesthetic, depending on the size of the implant. Compare calf implants (calf augmentation) now!
