Centers of Expertise

Musculoskeletal Center

One of the biggest departments in Lebanon, the musculoskeletal department at Bellevue Medical Center boasts a large patient ward with specialized rooms and the most equipped physiotherapy and rehabilitation center in the country.

This physiotherapy area is divided into two parts, dry and wet. The dry area includes a state of the art gymnasium with a wide range of specialized equipment for different types of rehabilitations. The wet area includes a hydrotherapy pool, and other new-line wet therapy.

Women’s wellness center

The Women Wellness Center at Bellevue Medical Center offers the female patient specialized and individualized healthcare services to fit her needs, in a serene and private quarter surrounded by nature, contributing to the acceleration of the healing process.

The Women Wellness Center at BMC is a big center divided internally to sub departments where the woman finds a wide range of highly diversified and personalized services, including:

Behavioral health center

The Behavioral health facility at the Bellevue Medical Center is unique in Lebanon. It offers a specialized psychiatric care service within a purposely designed, peaceful and home-like atmosphere. Patient bedrooms are cozy and warm, and at the same time, the highest international safety standards are respected.

The behavioral health program proposes several lines of services for both in and out patients. It concerns patients suffering from a variety of emotional, cognitive and behavioral disorders, including, mood and anxiety disorders, substance addiction, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and other specific conditions.

In addition, the behavioral health department at BMC is the only facility in the region offering a myriad of services for the patients such as a music room, social board room, arts and crafts room, a quiet lounge, a multi-purpose relaxation room, a therapy room, a kitchenette.

Emergency Unit

One of the most elaborate emergency centers in the country, the ER at Bellevue Medical Center consists of 13 beds, and is directly connected to the radiology department and to the minor and major operating theaters (7 operating theaters up to 55 m2 surface area, with a special laminar flow and unique ventilation units).

This efficiency in connecting the ER, Radiology, and ORs has been conceived to optimize patient care and reduce waiting time for patients especially in painful situations.

In addition, these departments ensure two separate unidirectional circulations for inpatients and outpatients.
