Dr. David Kirsch, MD – Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Kirsch received his MD at the Universidad de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico. He interned at Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas and also completed a rotation at La Ciudad Sanitaria de la Seguridad Social La Paz in Madrid Spain. He later went on to specialize in Plastic Surgery at the Centre Universitaire Hospitalier Regional in Nancy, France. Dr. Kirsch has over 10 years working in private practice and is part of the American Society of Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Rodrigo Munro-Wilson,MD – Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Rodrigo Munro-Wilson earned his MD from the Universidad de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico. He Specialized in General Surgery at Christus Muguerza Hospital and later specialized in Plastic and Recostructive Surgery at Hospital Universitario de NuevoLeón. He received his training in Aesthetic and Breast Reconstruction at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas, and later did a fellowship in Body Contouring After Massive Weight Loss in Iowa City Plastic Surgery.
Horacio Guajardo, MD – Weight Loss Surgeon
Dr. Guajardo received his MD at the Universidad De Monterrey. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Christus Muguerza Specialty Hospital and later completed a course in multiple specialties including gastric bypass, lap band, colorectal surgery, inguinal plasties, duodenal switch surgery, and others with Dr. Franco Favretti at the University of Padova in Vicenza, Italy. Dr. Guajardo Specialized in General and Bariatric Surgery using both open and laparoscopic techniques alongside Dr. Roberto Rumbaut and is currently working in Private Practice in Weight Loss Surgery at Hospital Christus Muguerza Sur and Hospital San Jose TEC with over 1,600 Weight Loss Procedures.
Francisco Treviño Garza, MD – Weight Loss Surgeon
Dr. Treviño received his MD at the Universidad de Monterrey. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Hospital San José - Tec de Monterrey, and later went on to do a cardiovascular surgery fellowship at Texas Heart Institute in Houston, Texas. Dr. Treviño has been in private practice since 1993 and is currently the associate medical director of Hospital San José TEC.
Dr. Jesus Vidaurri Leal, MD – Ophthalmologist
Dr. Vidaurri studied medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico, and completed his Ophthalmology residency training at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel. He then earned a fellowship in Cornea and Laser Refractive Surgery from Harvard University in Boston, MA, as well as a fellowship in Retina from the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital, School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. José Fernando de la Garza, MD – Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. José Fernando de la Garza received his MD at the Universidad de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico. He Specialized in Sports Injuries and Microsurgery and later sub-specialized in pediatric orthopedics at the University of Toronto Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He is the founder of the Ortho Group of Orthopedic Surgeons at Hospital San José TEC de Monterrey and is also a professor at the Hospital Universitario de Nuevo León in Pediatric Orthopedics.
Dr. Francisco Lopez Verdugo, MD - Urologist
Dr. Francisco Lopez Verdugo received his MD at the Universidad Autonoma de Sinaloa. He later specialized in Urology at IMSS No 25 Hospital in Monterrey, Mexico, and trained in Robotic Surgery at the German Hospital in Houston, Texas. He has attended workshops in Laparoscopic Surgery in Mexico City, and Monterrey, Mexico, as well as workshops in Urologic Laparoscopy in Bilbao, Spain. Dr. Felipe Gonzalez Camid MD – Cardiovascular Surgeon
Dr. Felipe Gonzalez received his MD at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma De Mexico in Mexico City. He later completed his residency in General Surgery at Hospital San José TEC and then completed a fellowship in cardiology at St. Luke Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Gonzalez was formerly the Chief of Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology at Hospital San José TEC and is currently practicing at their Institute of Vascular Medicine and Cardiology.
